Agreed Surveyor

If an award is required, for most straight forward projects one Surveyor can undertake the award. This is the preferred option as it is the most cost effective and quickest route. It is the duty of the Agreed Surveyor to undertke his duties impartially, ensuring the rights and protection of both neighbours is maintained.
Adjoining Owners Surveyor

If your neighbour is undertaking works and you are looking at appointing a Surveyor to protect your interests that is your right under the act. More information here
Building Owners Surveyor

A Building Owner's Surveyor is the Surveyor of the Owner undertaking the Building Works. Under the Party Wall Act you must serve notice on your neighbours. You can download standard templates here . At Christopher Anthony Surveyors we do not charge for this service, that way you are confident that the notice will be technically correct to cover all the works you propose and legally valid. more information here
